Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth are not married. At least not yet. The actors shared a clarification on Instagram which also served as a relationship status update for their fans. They announced that they were engaged but not married. The actors also showed their engagement rings in the picture. Aditi wore a ring with two solitaires: one round and one teardrop shaped. Siddhartha wore a gold band with a red line passing through it. “She said yes! Engaged D,” Aditi captioned her Instagram post. “She said yes! Engage D,” Siddharth wrote in his post.
Good luck is coming for the couple. “The picture is perfect! Good luck,” read one comment. Another comment read, “You guys are so happy, congratulations.”
Who broke the news of the marriage?
The news of Aditi and Sidharth ‘tying the knot’ was confirmed at the date announcement event of their upcoming Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Aditi did not attend the event and her absence was acknowledged by the evening’s host Sachin Kumbhar, who said that she had got married. He said, “Aditi is one of the important parts of Hiramandi and she is not here today, and one of the reasons is that she has a wedding today.”
He said, “So, we will congratulate them from here. It is special for them because the universe is conspiring to bring it all together. All the special events are happening this evening.”
Media reports also said that the long time couple got married at a temple in Telangana on Wednesday.
Aditi and Siddharth co-starred in the 2021 film Maha Samudram. Recently, Siddharth earned considerable critical acclaim for his work in Chitta. Aditi will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series Heera Mandi. It also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Manisha Koirala and others.
