Linkedin The Microsoft-owned social platform has made its way as a popular platform for professional networking, knowledge acquisition and recruitment, with more than 1 billion users. Now, to increase user engagement, the company is entering a new area: gaming.

According to a report published by TechCrunch, LinkedIn is developing a gaming experience, taking inspiration from the puzzle craze that propelled games like Wordle to viral fame. Early game prototypes feature titles such as “Queens,” “Inference,” and “Crossclimb.”

App researchers have uncovered code suggesting LinkedIn’s entry into gaming. One such researcher, Nima Owoji, said that LinkedIn appears to be experimenting with organizing players’ scores based on workplaces, potentially ranking companies based on these scores.
