Mahindra XUV 3XO unofficial bookings begin…..

Domestic automaker Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch the much-awaited Mahindra XUV 3XO in the Indian market on April 29, 2024. The 3XO is basically a facelifted version of the Mahindra XUV 300 and will continue to compete with the Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and the upcoming sub-4 meter SUV from Skoda.


Ahead of the launch, unofficial bookings for the compact SUV have begun at the dealership level. According to our sources, the booking amount has been set at Rs 21,000 and dealerships are taking bookings by obtaining KYC details. With the added features and updated design, we expect the new 3XO to be priced above Rs 50,000 and prices could start at Rs 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom).


The company has already released some teasers, in which we get a glimpse of its exterior design and interior. In terms of design, the overall silhouette of the new Mahindra At the front, it gets chrome-finished triangular embellishments in the grille, which is flanked by updated headlight clusters and fang-shaped LED DRLs.


It will also get a scuff plate with fog lamps at the front and a redesigned tailgate with connected LED taillights and a long bumper at the rear. In between, it gets the “XUV 3XO” moniker with Mahindra’s “Twin Peaks” logo. Other exterior highlights include newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels, an integrated roof spoiler, high-mounted stop lamps, a shark fin antenna and more.


The interior of the new Mahindra XUV 3XO will have the same dashboard layout as the Mahindra XUV 400 EV. It will feature a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system that will likely measure 10.25-inches and will also get a redesigned console with a piano black and silver finish. It will also get a fully digital instrument cluster with a redesigned steering wheel and is also expected to get new upholstery options.

Expected features will include dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, AdrenoX-connected car technology, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, automatic headlamps with wipers and more. In terms of safety, it is expected to have six airbags, all four disc brakes, ISOFIX mounts, traction control, ESP, TPMS, front and rear sensors, 360-degree parking camera and more.

Mechanically, the Turbo petrol. Gearbox options will include a 6-speed manual or AMT automatic.
