New Yezdi Scrambler spotted! Will be launched by July

– Recently seen at a dealer meet

– Likely to come with massive updates

– It is seen equipped with a single-sided exhaust, new instrument console and more

It looks like Yezdi Motorcycles is preparing for its next launch and it is likely to be an updated version of the Scrambler. The bike was recently showcased at a dealer meet and could be launched around July this year.

From what we can see here, there appear to be notable changes in the design and features. It retains the retro styling, but has a revised fuel tank and a new paint scheme of orange with blue stripes. Even the single-piece seat is wrapped in a plain cover, but there is no grab rail. Additionally, the bike shown here also has no tail light. Even the exhaust here is a single-sided unit, similar to what we see on the current Yezdi Scrambler, which gets one on each side.

Although engine details have not been revealed yet, we assume it will be the same 334cc, single-cylinder motor. For reference, the engine makes 28.7bhp and 28.2Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Another change that we have seen in the upcoming Yezdi bike is a dual-pod analog console. There is also a charging setup on the left side of the handlebar.

Its hardware includes a telescopic front fork with gaiter and a monoshock instead of dual rear springs. Brakes consist of a single disc at both ends along with dual-channel ABS. It even gets alloy wheels shod with road-biased Pirelli tires instead of spoke wheels with off-road tyres. The changes mentioned above seem to make the bike more road-oriented. This may be a result of the observation that most buyers of these bikes ride them more on-road rather than off-road.

However, there are a few more bikes in the background and one of them resembles the existing Scrambler but has a new exhaust setup.

Currently, the Yezdi Scrambler is priced at Rs. Rs 2,09,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). We expect the updated model to be priced slightly higher.
