Not Tata or Ashok Leyland, this start-up has got order for 1,000 electric trucks

 

electric trucks: Electric truck maker Tressa Motors has received a pre-order for 1,000 trucks from logistics company JFK Transporters. The Bengaluru-based start-up introduces model V0.1, which was unveiled in July 2023. The company is developing electric trucks in the 18T-55T gross vehicle weight (GVW) segment.

Tressa trucks currently have a 24,000Nm motor with a 300kWh battery pack, which supports 10-80% charge in 15 minutes. Their claimed top speed is 120 kmph. The company did not disclose the range of these electric trucks once fully charged.

Built on the Flux 350 platform, Tressa trucks are equipped with Mag50 800V 50kWh self-contained battery pack modules. The battery pack is IP69-rated and features active-liquid cooling technology for tailored range depending on payload.
