OnePlus is preparing to launch 2 new phones in different regions. The company will bring its OnePlus Nord CE 4 to India on April 1, the brand has already confirmed. Tipster Mukul Sharma revealed that the OnePlus Ace 3V, which is said to make its debut in global markets as the OnePlus Nord 4, will launch in China on March 21. While the India launch date for the Nord 4 is currently unknown, some details have been confirmed by the brand for the OnePlus Ace 3V. Some features have also been leaked, giving us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming 5G phone.
OnePlus Nord 4 aka Ace 3V to launch in China on March 21
The teaser released by OnePlus suggests that the device will come with a slim profile, metal frame and glossy back panel. As usual, it will feature a large display with minimal bezels around it. The screen looks extremely vibrant and attractive too. Additionally, to keep pace with its top-end models, OnePlus has moved the alert slider to the left side of the device. It also seems to have an IR blaster.
OnePlus Ace 3V has dual rear camera setup. While the name of the sensor has not been revealed yet, tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that the setup will have a 50-megapixel OIS main rear camera apart from other sensors. There may be a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the front.
The OnePlus Ace 3V is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. The chip will be backed by 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. As per the details revealed by the company, the upcoming OnePlus phone will run on Android 14 OS.
Rest of the details are still under wraps. If rumors are to be believed, the OnePlus Ace may come with a 3V 1.5K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. Under the hood, there could be a 5,500mAh battery unit which is also available inside the OnePlus 12R smartphone. It is being said that it will support 100W charging and the company will also provide a charger in the retail box. There will also be an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Once the device makes its debut in China, we can expect it to reach global markets like India. A recent leak revealed that the OnePlus Nord 4 will arrive in the second half of 2024, which is basically anytime after June. Having said that, when it does happen, the OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to be priced under Rs 35,000.
