Samantha Ruth Prabhu was ‘uncomfortable’ during Oo Antawa shoot: ‘I was trembling with fear…’

 

Samantha Ruth Prabhu sets the dance floor on fire with the song ‘Oo Antava’ in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise. In a recent interview, Samantha opened up about shooting for the track when she revealed that it was very ‘uncomfortable’ for her as an actor. She recalled that her legs were trembling while filming the song and further added that it was ‘very difficult’.

“I’ve always worked with the mindset of ‘I’m not good enough, I don’t look pretty, I don’t look like other girls’. So this was a huge challenge for me. This was actually the first shot of “Ooo Antawa” Was… I was shaking with fear because sexy is not my thing. It is not my thing. But how I have evolved as an actor and a person is that I have always made sure that Samantha at the India Today Conclave “I put myself in the most uncomfortable, unforgivable, very difficult situations,” he said during the interview.

The actress admitted that she was not feeling very confident but she decided to do Oo Antwa because she wanted to explore something new. “I think, for me, it was the lyrics. This was a challenge. And I think we can move on from judging women based on wanting to look good. We can do everything. We can look good,” she said.

However, when asked if she would do the dance number again in the future, Samantha made it clear that she would never do it. “No, I don’t see any challenge in it now,” he said.

Meanwhile, the shooting of Pushpa 2: The Rule is currently going on. This film starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles will be released in theaters on August 15 this year.

Samantha was last seen in Kushi. The romantic drama also starred Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role. Next, Samantha will be seen in the Indian version of Citadel which also stars Varun Dhawan and is directed by Raj and DK.
