Actors Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari are making headlines for their engagement. The couple got engaged a few days ago in a private ceremony, which many people termed as a “secret engagement”. To clarify the situation, Siddharth talked about this at the Galata Golden Stars event. The actor said, “Many people said that we have done this work secretly. There’s an important difference between doing something in private with family and doing something in secret. The people we didn’t invite are keeping it a secret, but for those we know, it was a private function. The next step depends on our elders because it is not like fixing a shooting date that I can decide. This is a lifetime commitment. So, when they take the decision it will happen naturally.”
When asked how long it took for Aditi Rao Hydari to say yes to the proposal, Siddharth replied, “How long it took, that’s not the question to be asked. The end result should be either yes or no. I’ll see to it.” Is the result pass or fail.I never saw how many marks I would get, I was stressed whether it would be yes or no and my name was in the pass list.
Talking about his wedding date, Sidharth said, “The wedding date will depend on the elders (of the family) and what they say. It’s not like a shooting date that I can decide on, it’s a date of a lifetime. Once they take the decision, it will happen at the right time.”
