Sunil Grover has opened up about his fight with Kapil Sharma and joked that it was “a publicity stunt” he did for Netflix long before the streaming giant set foot in India. The pair have reunited after seven years for The Great Indian Kapil Show. Further during the premiere of the show, Kapil and Sunil sat for a press conference and addressed the infamous fight. Sunil poked fun at their now ended feud and said that it was all pre-planned years ago.

“We were sitting on the flight and we learned that Netflix is ​​coming to India. So, let it be a (good) publicity stunt,” Sunil said, making fun of his and Kapil’s fight.

Sunil also jokingly said that Netflix India had called him to ask what could be done and thus, the idea came to his mind.

Kapil further said that Sunil was also busy in many projects. Kapil revealed, he was doing many series and projects so we could not come together again. After this Sunil said that his return feels like a homecoming as he enjoyed working with Kapil and his team.

It has already been known from the teaser that Sunil will return as Gutthi. In the first episode, he will be seen teasing Ranbir Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
