When asked about his chemistry with his co-star Mrunal Thakur in Family Star, Vijay Deverakonda said that it is easy when one is acting with such a smart actress.
“When you have an intelligent actress with you, it is much easier. Mrinal has been acting even before I dreamed of films. She has been working since a young age. She picks up things very fast. I keep telling her that she is blessed with a face. Even if he doesn’t say much, you can feel the emotions. The geometry of her nose, lips and eyes… there is something about it that conveys emotions well, even if she doesn’t know the language. He was very easy to work with,” he said in an interview with Galatta Plus.
Deverakonda said that Parashuram has a unique way of speaking and expressing himself.
“The film’s director Parasuram has a very unique taste, way of saying dialogues and expressing himself. I know this is the exact rhythm I need to capture. As soon as I visited the sets of both Geetha Govindam and Family Star, I heard and observed the dialogues from them. I captured it and reproduced it with my face and body. I made some changes. “All credit goes to Parashuram,” the actor told Galatta Plus, adding, “That was all I had to do. I don’t need Stanislavski or anything. I just want to go to the set. The more I can get out of it, the better the scene will be. I’m just connecting with him and picking the best.
