Vivo is set to expand its product portfolio with the launch of a new affordable smartphone in India. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is preparing to launch Vivo T3 5G smartphone in the country soon. The upcoming phone will replace the Vivo T2 5G smartphone that was launched last year. The company took to social media platform X (previously Twitter) to confirm and officially tease the Vivo T3 5G.

The company has also uploaded a teaser video of the smartphone featuring Indian filmmaker Rohit Shetty.

Vivo T3 5G: What to expect According to the X post, the Vivo T3 5G smartphone will be available exclusively through Flipkart. The e-commerce platform has also created a dedicated microsite that teases the design of the handset.

The landing page shows the phone in green color which also has a similar design to its predecessor. The Flipkart page also confirms that the Vivo T3 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity chipset and feature a Sony OIS sensor. Exact details about the phone’s SoC and camera will be revealed on March 16 and 18, respectively.

Rumors suggest that the upcoming smartphone will be priced under Rs 20,000 and may feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1800 nits peak brightness.


The selfie camera is expected to be housed within a hole punch cutout at the center of the screen. The Vivo T3 is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage option.

For photography, the Vivo T3 5G is rumored to have a triple rear camera unit, which may include a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS support, a 2MP Bokeh lens, and a flicker sensor. On the front, the smartphone may sport a 16MP selfie shooter.

The Vivo T3 is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery unit that can support 44W wired fast charging. The smartphone may also have dual stereo speaker setup and IP54 water and dust resistance rating.
