Why You Should Blog

Why You Should Blog!

Why You Should Blog. I have been blogging for fair over two months now. Many of my mentoring students are asking my advice on blogging.

I even have thus far unsure to show much about blogging. Because it’s not something I sense I “know” yet. I perceive far more comfortable teaching about things I do know.

Well… I look quickly at Alexa and noticed that this blog almost hit the highest 10,000 most visited sites on the web today. It means I have been seeing success with many of the system that are special to blog promotion.

I felt it had been time to mark down a post about promotion. BUT… WAIT! I even have not even explained why I have this blog thing. I cannot really skip into getting traffic to your blog without explaining why I even have a blog and why you should have one too; now can I?.

Let’s return to my history.

I “made it” online without many of the tools you see me contributing today. I had no products and no copy writing ability. My program ranking data was my key to my original success on the web.

I might simply create high ranking websites for a few market and sell the traffic from those sites on to those that did have copywriting ability and products.

Obviously I do not recommend that. Having your personal unit and copy writing ability are both multipliers to knowing the way to get traffic. Now-a-days I specialise in all three aspects of your Internet business and recommend that you simply do an equivalent.

With that said… don’t underestimate the traffic business. Consider this. Who is that the affluent man within the world? Right. Gates . He sells software. Software may be a good business! Consider this though. Who are the three leading websites on the Internet? Go check Alexa if you don’t know.

OK don’t check. I’ll just tell you:
  1. Yahoo
  2. Google
  3. MSN (Microsoft)

Now take a glance at that third one. That’s the corporate that Gates (the richest man within the world; remember?) started. Now he’s dirty around on the web within the #3 spot.

Now let’s take a jump here. What do those three sites sell?. Ok take a moment on this one. There’ll be a test.

That’s right. They exchanging traffic (or they mostly exchanging traffic… Yahoo and MSN are a small bit more diverse than that). Now isn’t that interesting… The richest man within the world… who go that way by selling software… now wants to sell traffic.

OK that was a diversion. We will come there to later. What I wanted to inform you about. Was my experience selling traffic (which remains the most important a part of my business).

I made an error . I sold traffic anonymously under corporate names. None of my traffic buyers know who I’m. They only buy traffic from XYZ firm. Because it converts to sales for them. XYZ Corporation has no personality. In fact it is fully automated and most of my customers seem to affection it that way.

I tried to vary that a few of years ago. I began sending them emails teaching. How they might get the foremost out of my traffic service. I used to be too late. They didn’t know me and that they didn’t want to listen to from me.

Then I tried one last try (I am glad I did) by offering them a special on traffic that month. I sense I did a two for one deal or something like that. Over 25% of my customers bought a replacement campaign that day. I renovated $60,000 in at some point there upon one email and assumed that was cool!. Still do and mark one email and make thousands of dollars during a single day. I sense lots of marketers like that.

The power of your customer

The power of your customer list is incredible! If you’ll convert 2% of strangers into customers with a sales page, you’ll convert 25% of your existing customers into customers of another product thereupon same sales page. That’s powerful!

I tried it with another product. it had been an honest product. it had been mine. it had been the program research itself that cause the traffic those customers were buying. In effect, i used to be offering to show them the way to generate an equivalent traffic that I used to be selling to them. It flopped miserably.

No-one bought. I attempted several other products. Nothing. Why?

Some of the responses told me directly. Albeit I used to be mark under the corporate name, they didn’t know me. I’ll repeat that. They didn’t know me and company.

They knew that my firm delivered great converting traffic. But they simply didn’t know me. An endorsement of 1 firm by another isn’t very powerful. It isn’t nearly as strong as an endorsement by a private.

So, I went on to try to to the liberty Events. you recognize how they went. supported the support of a couple of well-known Internet marketers, they sold out.

Lesson learned. To urge that 25% number, you would like one among the following:
  1. To be marketing to your clients as a corporation and selling a special offer on the merchandise of your firm that your clients already realize.
  • To be marketing to your clients as an individual and selling a special offer on any unit that you simply personally endorse… and haven’t given a nasty endorsement on a product to your customers before.
I wanted to try to to the latter with my very own customers… not those of another Internet marketer.

What is the simplest thanks to do that? As I outlet around, a blog is that the absolute perfect vehicle for that. As I sell units (and cross-promote them on the owner’s pages), I also promote this blog.

It’s referred on the owner’s page and is additionally referred within the very first email most of the people get after purchasing one among my units.

They buy the merchandise from a unknown person. But I introduce myself because the creator of that product very early by pointing them (you) at this blog.

Then, I don’t hide the blog behind some common image. You are doing buy my units from an organization, but does one even know the name of that firm? Who cares what it’s called? I would like you to advise to understand me. That’s the aim of this blog.

Now some people are finding this blog before they purchase one among my units. That’s OK too. Some people buy a product supported the sales page. Because they know the author never make junk. Some have a mixture of these reasons.

OK so. yes… you ought to have a blog. I suggest that you simply generate your blog between your 3rd and 4th unit in your primary market. That is once I created this blog. That is also once you desire to start out cross promoting your 3 or 4 units on their owner’s pages.

Here are another things that i feel are important:
  1. Fill your name for the domain for your blog.
  2. Type your name at the highest not some cutesy blog name.
  3. Share of yourself.

Don’t post to your blog such as you are a customer service rep answering the telephone for an out sized company… never revealing anything of yourself. Only the firm script. Chat together with your clients like they are dear friends. Don’t give out your home details or telephone number. But within the context of the blog. What are you fearing of?. Let your blog viewers get to know you.

Post often

People can take into the habit of doing something daily or hourly very easily. It is far more difficult to advise into a weekly or monthly habit. Post a minimum of daily so your blog readers can get into a daily habit of reading what you’ve got to mention.

Don’t worry about crating a gift of secrets of your units.

That’s one reason I only exchange software, video and mentoring units immediately . It’s simply impossible to accidentally divulge an excessive amount of in text on your blog. Software and video are both more robust channels than text. I can explain in words all day long the path to do something… it’ll still be functional to shop for the software to automate that task and/or buy the video to really see how it all works.

Get a subscribe meet up on your blog (and all of your content sites).

Some people will desire to follow your blog, but won’t remember. You would like to offer them how to allow you to send them reminders once you post. this may artistically increase your number of repeat visitors over time.

OK I feel that answers the question about why I even have a blog and why you should too… and the path you should set it up. Now, I can jump into the precise ways to urge traffic to a blog that only exist for blogs… not other sorts of sites. I’ll do this during a new post.

For now, go fill your name and obtain WordPress installed thereon domain. Get your subscribe meet up . Write a piece of writing and give away it to your blog… then give away it via Artemis Pro together with your blog referred within the resource box of your article.

That’s how I began just a touch over two months ago and as of today… I’m almost within the top 10,000 most visited websites on the web. Look if you’ll beat me within the next few months.
